Time to sign up extended

Organisers of the awards, the Australian Sign and Graphics Association, says many calls from people wishing to enter who were constricted due to end of the financial year rush, prompted the extension.

The Association says with a win at the prestigious awards comes credibility and clients, with past winners reporting renewed client confidence in their business when they promoted their award win.

The categories for the awards are: vehicles (painted and coloured vinyl); vehicles (digital and wrapped); glasswork; neon sign/image; illuminated signs or images; illustrations and murals; signs, engraving, router output; exhibition stands; point of sale display; watercolour; traditional handcrafted and lettered signs; outdoor digital imaging design; self promotion; any sign produced designed from out of house; work by an apprentice or trainee; sign systems; the outstanding achievements award; and, supplier or associate of the year.

The association says these categories recognise the increasing use of digital imagery and technologies and have been created to differentiate between traditional and new methodology.

To enter, contact the Australian Sign and Graphics Association.
