TLC Melbourne back in business after fire

Trade finishing house TLC Melbourne has bounced back from the suspicious fire that ripped through its Signarama section two weeks ago.

A spokesperson for the Melbourne printer says its print finishing business has not been affected, but all signage work is now redirected to its Mordialloc factory.

Most of the flame damage targeted wide format presses in the Signarama section of the premises, and the extent of the damage has forced the laminating company to shut down that part of the factory.

The finishing house says it is uncertain when the flame damages on Ireland Street will be repaired and when Signarama will be back in business.

TLC owner Barry Webster bought the Melbourne CBD Signarama franchise two years ago. Victorian police are still investigating the arson, and have determined the fire was lit after forced entry.
