Transformation and profit on topic at PIAA seminar

Joe Kowalewski, national communication and technical services manager at Printing Industries says, “The original presentation gave us the vision, now we have to provide the tools and knowledge to help companies interested in taking this path to do so.”

“We have partnered with Pitney Bowes and Australia Post to present a very practical session demonstrating how printing companies can use fulfilment services to achieve this additional profitability.”

According to Printing Industries, the session will identify the kind of mail fulfilment value-add services printers can profitably offer their clients and use to market their own business with. It will also detail how companies can best use the postal discount structure for better profitability.

The ‘Pushing the envelope of profitability’ seminar will feature Michelle Sheehan, director, marketing and business development, Pitney Bowes Australia and Michael Durie, marketing consultant with Australia Post.

Kowalewski continues, “Complementing this breakfast session will be a product display illustrating the kind of equipment available to printing companies to help them achieve fulfilment value-adds.

“Attendees will be able to learn first-hand from case studies and see the kind of equipment needed and the cost-effectiveness of the processes involved in a mini product display that will be available.”

The session will be held April 28 at the Rydges Hotel, Parramatta.
