Tropical celebration for Quality install

Many of Quality’s clients attended, together with a ‘who’s who’ of the printing industry in Perth, totalling over 250 people. Quests arrived early evening for drinks and nibbles served in an outdoor marquee, with a calypso band playing to set the mood. The grand moment finally arrived when they were allowed into the factory to see the sparkling new and imposing press on display.

Speeches of welcome and congratulations were made, and Yoshio Kanda, Komori director, presented an encased Japanese doll to Quality Press to mark the occasion.

Gerard Wintle, CPI Machinery general manager, was master of ceremonies, as the press was put through its paces, demonstrating how this latest Komori can change ten plates in just five minutes. Visitors gathered round to check the high quality of print produced.

Then it was time for more festivities and cabaret entertainment, which lasted well into the evening.

Quality Press managing director Atish Shah says that he was delighted with the evening, and the response from his clients to their new press capability. The evening also proved to be one of the year’s top functions for the printing industry in Perth.
