Visitors will be able to place contributions in a barrel at the entrance to the show, which kicked off this morning.

Visual Connections has pledged to match all donations, dollar for dollar.

Visual Impact Sydney continues until Friday. It sold all of its exhibitor space two months in advance of the show, which Visual Connections says is unprecedented.

The show this year features a new focus on textile printing as well as introducing breakfast seminars.
