Visual Connections in president changeover

Visual Connections is replacing outgoing president, and CEO of Bottcher Australia, Mitchell Mulligan with Roland DG Australia president, John Wall.

Visual Connections is the suppliers association for the print, graphics and signage industries in Australia and was formed last year through the merger of GAMAA, the Graphic Arts Merchants Association of Australia and Visual Industries Suppliers Association.

Incoming president Wall says he is looking forward to taking the helm as the association enters its second year.

He says, “Over the next twelve months, there will be some exciting times ahead as we bring together Visual Impact Sydney 2016, PacPrint 2017 and other industry events. With the assistance of the Board, I hope to give back to the industry that supports us all.”

Commenting on his departure, Mulligan says, “It has been a rewarding year and I would like to thank my fellow Board members for their hard work. We are proud that Visual Connections has united major suppliers across the print, graphic and signage industries and continued to contribute to the sustainability of the industry.”

The association presents the popular Visual Impact and PacPrint trade shows with Visual Impact Sydney to be held this September and PacPrint to visit Melbourne in May next year.

Visual Connections also maintains strong industry ties through its shared management of the annual Women in Print event, investment in industry grants and sponsorships, and support for industry campaigns including TSA Limited.
