Waratah consolidates sites

Melbourne based Waratah Group has moved its mailing house business, Waratah Direct Communications into its main Port Melbourne premises from Preston, consolidating it with Waratah Digital and Commercial Brand Communications, under one roof.

Direct, formerly known as Data Direct, has transferred all 20 odd staff and equipment over to the site.

Ayda Hornak, head of sales and marketing at Waratah says, “It is an integration of our services, allowing us to scheldule our work efficiently and combine our resources to better service our clients.

“It has been a massive transition but the team has integrated so quickly. Everything has been moved over.”

Following the purchase of Data Direct last year, Waratah has made significant investments in its kit, with the mailhouse being the first business to install the Ocè VarioPrint i300 sheet-fed inkjet digital colour press in Australia and New Zealand.

Waratah Group now has around 200 staff.
