Women In Print 2009 creates a “buzz”

The event is making its way across the country along with guest speaker Emanuel Perdis (pictured, second from left), the co-founder of Napoleon Perdis cosmetics, with over 400 attendees expected nation-wide.

This week’s event in Sydney took place at Waters Edge in The Rocks, with attendees treated to a gift bag of Napoleon Perdis products on arrival.

Heidelberg patron Georgie Grabyn (pictured, second from right) opened proceedings, saying that the initiative is “the perfect opportunity to network.”

“Already I can hear that buzz in the room that you always get with a group of ladies,” she declared.

That “buzz” rose higher when NSW patron and GAMAA executive director Karen Goldsmith (pictured, far right) later encouraged the attendees to rise from their seats and talk to somebody they didn’t yet know.

Heidelberg Women In Print 2009 will continue next week in Brisbane on March 25, in Perth on March 26 and in Adelaide on March 27.
