Worldwide executive appointed to two industry bodies

Timms has 30 years experience in the printing industry including running her own printing business in Manchester, England. She has worked for Worldwide Online Printing for five years. With more than 12 years experience in the franchising sector she has worked in sales, marketing and training.

One of her major achievements has been the development of registered training organisation (RTO) status online programmes and training centres for the development of franchise owners and their employees.

Timms said she was looking forward to contributing to the ongoing successful promotion and operation of franchising on both committees.

She says, “Queensland is a very progressive state in the area of franchising and I want to see that continue. Women are still under represented in franchising but many of the women franchisees that I see are among the best performing.”

Timms is on the organising committee for the 2010 National Franchise Convention being held on the Gold Coast (Surfers Paradise) on October 10-12 where she will also be an expert panellist.

On November 10 she will also be a keynote speaker at the next Queensland based Asia-Pacific Centre for Franchising Excellence’s National Franchise Forum to be held on the Gold Coast.

Worldwide Online Printing has 77 franchises across all mainland States and the ACT.
