Xanté says new digital press helps keep jobs in house

Printing 3000 full colour envelopes an hour, the Xanté says its Ilumina Digital Envelope Press is a cost-effective transpromo solution.

The press is designed to offer production automation to digital print shops with 500 piece input capacity and an output conveyer. According to Xanté, it can print on window envelopes and supports duplexing for printing on both sides of an envelope. It also supports variable data printing, allowing printers to add promotional messages to standard envelope printing.

The Ilumina Digital Envelope Press can also print full colour pages from its 530 sheet cassette handling up to 30cm x 46cm paper. Printers can use the same system to produce flyers and postcards at speeds up to 2,000 sheets per hour.

Robert Ross CEO of Xanté says, “We received a lot of inquiries and positive feedback from our initial showing of the Ilumina Digital Press and have since worked to incorporate more functionality in our design.”

Ross continues, “What we confirmed is there are a lot of printers, from in-plants to quick printers – that are typically outsourcing their envelope printing jobs or producing envelope jobs at a loss because they lack an affordable and reliable in-house solution.”
