The objective of the Awards is to recognise and reward organisations that exemplify the “spirit and intent” of the FSC system through their management practices, their contribution and their promotion of FSC certification and FSC certified products.

Representing the Vega Team at the Awards Rob Nugent, commercial manager says, “We acknowledge the importance of FSC in printing and other forest based industries. We have been extremely careful with the use of the FSC Trademark and winning this award demonstrates our commitment to environmental standards and the promotion of raw materials from renewable sources.

“We have worked closely with the auditors from SGS Australia to ensure our systems are robust and appreciate their assistance and support.”

The FSC outlines that its mission is to promote environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial and economically viable management of the world’s forests.

Through FSC chain of custody certification Vega Press is able to demonstrate its commitment to environmentally and socially responsible forest management and label its products with the FSC trademarks.
