Graph-Pak has appointed Ace Rollers as the official roller supplier to re-cover its range of Autobond Rollers. Tom Ralph, managing director of Graph-Pak says, “Ace Rollers has developed an exclusive nip roller compound that conforms to the standards set by Autobond UK. “This means that Autobond laminator users will be able to get optimum performance from their laminators. And so will users of D&K laminators that we also supply.” Ace Rollers is owned by Angus Scott, one of Australia’s pre-eminent roller specialists. Scott says, “The rubber has been formulated to deliver excellent adhesion to the metal core, exceptional dimensional stability and a true and accurate surface finish. Ralph says that in addition to recovering rollers he and Scott will embark on an education programme to inform laminator users of the benefits of using roller wash, which he says can double the life of a roller.

There are around 100 Autobond laminators in the country, and some 35 D&K laminators.
