Aldus says it was approached by Schlumpf due to its sales coverage in the wide and narrow web market in both Australia and New Zealand, having offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Wellington.

The Schlumpf products include roll lifting, turning and machine loading and unloading devices. In today’s safety conscious environment operator safety is paramount and the wide range of reel handing devices available from Schlumpf would cover almost any roll and shaft handling application, according to Aldus.

Schlumpf’s product range includes small roll transport trolleys through to powered roll turners for rolls in excess of 1000kg, specialized die box lifters for the narrow web industry and shaft extraction systems.

Aldus continues that Schlumpf will be featured at its stand during Pacprint next month.
