Ian Guanaria, general manger of Aldus Engineering says the Mark Andy 2200 has been one of the most successfully sold narrow web presses in the world with more than 40 sold throughout Australia alone. He adds benefits of the 2200 include less maintenance, less mechanics, better registering and high speeds.
Guanaria says, “There are a lot of different presses on the market however Mark Andy is the biggest supplier of narrow web around and the 2200 is very well known. We provide value for money as well as after sales service.”
He continues, “We have service centres in Sydney, Melbourne, Wellington and Auckland and we are able to service the whole press because we supply the individual components.”
According to Aldus, the 2200 system can be equipped with 12 or more print stations, with additional modules for die cutting, punching, perforating, rewinding, sheeting, folding and conveying.
The company adds that the 2200 can be used for a wide variety of converting applications employing pressure sensitive stock, paper, foil, gummed stock, heat seal material, light weight tag and data processing stock, plus print both sides of the web in a single pass.
