Anonymous suitor makes bid for Salmat’s mail business

The communications giant says the approach is from a “credible party” whose identity is confidential.

Salmat, together with its advisers Macquarie Capital and Clayton Utz, says it is considering the approach and strategic options to maximise the value of BPO for shareholders.

In a statement to the ASX, Salmat management said, “There is no certainty that this approach and subsequent discussions will lead to any agreement being reached between the parties or a transaction occurring.”

Salmat says it will make a further announcement when appropriate.
