ASAP Repairs to service JBI nationally

ASAP had already been exclusively handling the servicing of JBI equipment for the past two years in Victoria and Tasmania through JBI reseller Reprotech.

The nationwide contract kicked off four weeks ago after ASAP Matthew Benn travelled to JBI’s headquarters in France for factory-based training.

Benn told ProPrint the trip lent him invaluable experience in knowing how to better service JBI machinery.

“You get a first-hand look at the equipment with the people who actually designed and made the machines,” he said.

“The guy that designs the machine is the one that trains you, so he’s probably the most knowledgeable person to have teaching you.

“It gives you a feel for the quality that goes into the machinery, so you really get a better understanding of what you’re fixing,” added Benn.

It is believed to be the first time that JBI has had a national servicing supplier in Australia. Reprotech will continue to hold the sales agency for JBI equipment in Victoria and Tasmania.

Benn said the deal should help build confidence in the industry and for existing JBI equipment users.

“It helps people buy James Burn with confidence because they’re assured of getting good service,” he said.
