Auspack 2015 is celebrating its 30th anniversary by breaking its own record with a packed exhibition of 1200 brands, showcasing processing and packaging machines, from March 24 to 27 in Melbourne. Some 315 exhibitors, including about 80 international and 67 APPMA member companies, will attend the event making it Auspack’s biggest exhibition yet. In less than two months Australia’s only national packaging and processing machinery organisation will also run the 2015 National Technical Forums – which is the educational component of Auspack.
Luke Kasprzak, portfolio director of industrial division, exhibition and trade fairs, says attending the event is ‘an absolute must for anyone, whether it is visiting the exhibition, or participating in the educational program Auspack offers something for everyone’. He says that during the four-day exhibition visitors will have the opportunity to meet with hundreds of companies and learn about everything from packaging and processing through to components and materials. Kasprzak says, “Under the umbrella of Packaging & Processing Week, the 2015 National Technical Forums have also broken records by expanding to a four-day program. This year delegates will have the opportunity to hear from 39 speakers from eight countries, who will cover an extensive range of topics under the theme Open Innovation & Collaboration.” The 2015 Latma Label Awards will also be held on the final night of Auspack, featuring the best in label printing and converting in the country on March 26.
