The ACA says Bishop brings more than 15 years’ experience in printing, paper and distribution to the position and will be responsible for ensuring the industry remains viable and relevant, well into the future.
Bishop outlines that he is enthusiastic about leading the association towards its next phase of growth and engagement with the wider community.
He says, “This current economic climate is a great opportunity for the industry. Catalogues drive sales and stimulate retail activity. Their effectiveness is more relevant now than ever.”
Before stepping down Chris Lee-Brown will liaise closely with Ken to ensure a seamless transition, according to the Association.
Commenting on the appointment, David Chesser, chairman of the ACA says, “The ACA looks forward to the continuing evolution of the association that Ken can provide and building on the sound platform that Chris has laid.”
The ACA was formed in 1992 and represents the producers and distributors of catalogues. The Association provides a forum for the promotion of catalogues as an effective advertising medium alone or, most often for companies, as an integral part of the marketing mix.
