Australian developer wins seat on CIP4 board

The Wollongong-based developer (pictured) is the inventor of Metrix, LithoTechnics’ flagship product, which is designed to automate job planning and imposition. Holt also invented SuperImpose, which was subsequently renamed UpFront and acquired by Kodak.

Holt will serve a two-year term on the advisory board as a “full member” before being up for re-election.

“There was a lot of competition for the Advisory Board positions and competition for two of the Board of Director positions,” said CIP4 executive director James Harvey. “This year’s elections clearly show that CIP4 is alive and many folks have ideas and an interest in building the specifications, education programs and the organization itself.”
