Andrew & Suter manufactures a range of corrugated and cardboard box folder gluers supplied to the box industry throughout the world. The A&S machines are recognised for their ease of setting and flexibility to produce straight line and multi- point gluing.

The acquisition by Autobox Machinery, follows a successful 2011 when sales increased by 50 per cent with exports accounting for 70 per cent of turnover. The launch of new box making machines following an extensive R&D programme, has contributed to the success.

Barry Tabor, managing director of Autobox Machinery says, “Being able to acquire an established manufacturer like Andrew & Suter with a product range that complements the existing Autobox machines provides us with an opportunity to substantially grow the combined businesses.

“Both companies have skills and experience that can benefit each other. We look forward to developing the A&S business in the coming years and maintaining the excellent level of after sales service for which it is renowned.”
