
Cielab claims the new model is up to 30 per cent faster, with a measuring speed of ten minutes for 1,248 fields, or less than 0.3 of a second, despite the smallest measuring step being 0.2mm.
“Typically, its use will be linearisation and profiling of photographic and wide-format output devices for flexible reflective and transparent materials,” said cielab head Michael Rooney. “It can also be easily used as a densitometer to determine density values for films and papers.”
This latest Spectro Swing is available in two versions: an RT, for transparent and reflective media, and an R, for reflective media only.
