Melbourne based sign and display business Brand Print has moved to a new 550sqm factory in the suburb of Carrum Downs after investing in a new wide format Canon Arizona printer.
Stacey Currie, owner, Brand Print told Australian Printer, “We ran out of room in our old factory which was 200sqm, as we had invested in the new Arizona, so we had to move up. Currie says although the company has only just moved and installed the Arizona the investment has already paid off. She says, “We have gone on to win large accounts with some of the biggest retail companies in Australia.” Along with the Canon Arizona 350GT inkjet flatbed the company bought a Konsberg XN24 cutting table. The Brand team recently flew to Japan to train and learn about a product called Re-Board that it will be introducing into Australia. Brand Print has eight employees and specialises in outdoor displays, banners, POS, billboards, flags and labels, and also has Roland DG and Mimaki large format digital printers. The development of Brand Print is an ongoing testimony to the ability of owner Stacey Currie to turn her life around. She says, “My business dream started when I was twenty one years old and living in a violent relationship. I was lost. I had no real friends, I was angry, I was lonely and my children were suffering. My self-esteem was gone and I had really hit the bottom of the black hole. I am blessed to see what I have done with my life since.”
