Canon unveils imageFORMULA brand, launches new scanners

The imageFORMULA DR-2010C scanner is designed to save small and medium-sized office department’s time, money and storage space and complements Canon’s existing line of business scanners.

The DR-2010C replaces the discontinued DR-2050C scanner and comprises Canon’s unique document feeding technology, which enables users to scan colour images at the same speed as black and white documents, and save directly into PDF format. The improved document feeding system holds up to 50 pages for bulk scanning and can suit a range of documents, from thick and multi-sheet documents to embossed plastic cards and driver licences.

The DR-2010C scanner also comes with Capture Perfect 3.0, a multipurpose bundled software package, as well as Adobe Acrobat 8.0 Standard, digital file management solution PaperPort SE, and Biz Card Reader 5 SE for easy filing of scanned documents and business card management.

Another addition to Canon’s new imageFORMULA product line is the DR-2510C scanner. The product’s space-saving design suits tight spaces, including desktops, teller counters and shared work stations, and measures less than 30 centimetres long and 20 centimetres wide.

The DR-2510C scanner also boasts the same speed for colour as black-and-white scanning, at a rate of 25 pages per minute.

The DR-2010C and the DR-2510C scanners are available through authorised resellers, with a suggested retail price of $850 and $1,295 ex GST respectively. To find an authorised dealer in your area call 1800 199 444 or visit Canon Australia.
