CanPrint achieves AFCS certification

With the company using roughly 3000 tonnes of paper a year, CanPrint is now automatically endorsed under the Programme for Endorsement of Forest Certification scheme (PEFC).

“More and more customers are demanding certified paper as part of their corporate and social responsibility,” said Scott Elliott, facility manager at CanPrint. “We wanted to offer choice and help those customers who want to protect the environment. Certification is the only way we can prove the paper is bona fide and meets Australian standards.”

CanPrint has also invested in a new Speedmaster 102 10P with image control, Speedmaster 74/5 with coater and a new Heidleberg/Stahl TH82 fully programmable folder, as well as an Océ 650 colour printer.

With the federal government one of its major customers, CanPrint is responsible for the printing of the federal budget.
