Dave Frescoln, president of the organisation since 1992, is elected vice chairman and chief executive officer of the global company, while chief operating officer Linda Welty has been named to the added role of president. David Flint will continue in his position of executive vice president of the family-owned company.
Founded in Detroit in 1920 by Howard Flint II’s grandfather, Flint Ink is headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The company manufactures ink used in printing newspapers, magazines, books, packaging, and thousands of other printed products. The company has 4,400 employees and operates in more than 100 locations worldwide. Sales in 2004 topped US$1.47bn.
