CMYKhub, Active and ABC installing HP printers

Australian trade printer CMYKhub and signage printers Active Adval and ABC Photosigns. are installing a quartet of new HP printers between them. CMYKhub now has its new HP Indigo 7600 and HP Indigo 5600 presses up and running, while both Active Adval and ABC Photosigns have invested in an HP Latex 3000 printer. HP says CMYKhub took on its second new digital press, the Indigo 7600, after seeing growth in its digital printing output soon after its investment in the Indigo 5600 press.

As well as its Latex 3000, Active Adval is also the first business in the Asia Pacific to order and install the newly available HP Scitex FB10000 industrial press. HP says the analogue printing market is projected to grow by a compound annual growth rate of only 1.2 per cent through 2016, which it believes will challenge printers to identify ways to grow their business with existing customers and reach new audiences. Gido van Praag, vice president and general manager of the Graphics Solutions Business with HP Asia Pacific and Japan, says, “Changing commercial printing business conditions are forcing printing companies to take a hard look at their technology, application offerings and how they create a competitive advantage in the marketplace. “HP’s digital solutions portfolio is the future of the printing industry, fuelling a transformation from analogue to digital while offering printing companies new avenues to enhance profitability.” The company adds that it has installed more than 60 of its Indigo 10000 digital presses in 20 countries since the machine’s launch in September 2013.
