This new ColorBurst rip system allows VUTEk printer users to eliminate many rips with slightly different colour processing algorithms and functionality, and standardise on an optimised ColorBurst rip that provides identical functionality and consistent performance across the company’s entire product line. In addition, the new ColorBurst rip may be used to drive non-VUTEk wide format printers.
ColorBurst is a PostScript Language Level 3 compatible rip available on both the Windows and Mac OS X platforms. VUTEk says the ColorBurst provides superior colour correction using ICC profiles and a wide range of productivity tools. It is standard with all VUTEk wide-format ink jet printers.
The new ColorBurst rip is a free upgrade for all VUTEk customers and can be obtained by logging onto the customer support section of the VUTEk web site www.vutek.com.
