Some of the new features include manual nesting enabling output to any number of files collectively; support for a wider variety of printers and file formats, including the latest Epson, HP Desighjet and Canon imagePrograf printers; a new cropping function that allows users to remove a section of a page to print only the area of interest; prcess colours CMYK can be identified as spot colour; and support for jpg and psd file formats for added flexibility in proof creation.

A new Dot Creator option allows composite or separated screened proofs and printouts to be generated from continuous tone data without using an image setter of plate setter RIP; and a new Fiery Output option means EFI’s Best Color technology can be used to accomplish linerising, characterising and colour verifying.
