Thames travelled to Ipex to view the worldwide release of the half size LS range which included an LS529 with inline coater and an LS1029 10-colour perfector.

Thames was very impressed with the level of automation in the new model which features full automatic plate changing. Komori showed how fast the model was in the makeready area with three makereadies in just 13.5 minutes.

“We were so impressed with the model we had just about made our mind up at Ipex,” says Phil Jones of Thames Publishing. ” says. This was confirmed with an order not long after.

Komori have also had a run of success in Australia with three LS1040P 10-colour A1 perfector presses, an LS840P 8-colour perfector. In New Zealand CPI have also sold three new A2 presses in recent months.
