David Booth, general manager, CPI Graphics said the five date regional tour was designed to provide those printers outside of the capital cities with an opportunity to view the HP Designjet L25500.
He says, “We canvassed a number of printers in regional areas who told us it isn’t always possible for them to travel to the city, but they’d welcome the opportunity to check out the HP Latex inks solutions if we could come to them. So we’re putting the printer and a range of print samples into a van and going on the road.”
The road trip will take in Bendigo, Ballarat, Warrnambool, Geelong and Sale. Booth said if the Victorian leg was successful the company would consider hitting the road in NSW also.
Booth says, “We haven’t done an event like this before so we are keen to see what kind of response we get from the regional printers. Certainly initial interest indicates that we will have a good turnout in each centre.”
Joining the tour will be HP product specialist Jeremy Brew along with the CPI team who will demonstrate the printer’s competitive positioning and its capabilities across a range of media.
The CPI Graphics HP Designjet L25500 showcase will be held in the following locations from 2pm-5pm:
- February 7, Bendigo – Hotel Shamrock
- February 8, Ballarat – Seymours on Lydiard
- February 9, Warrnambool – Hotel Warrnambool
