In accepting the award, CPI general manager Machinery, Gerard Wintle, thanked all the Asian members and Komori Corporation.
CPI attributes the increase in sales for the last financial year to Komori ‘s commitment to quality and the environment.
Strong sales in the long perfector market saw CPI’s existing and new users investing in latest technology from Komori both in 40" and 29" eight- and ten-colour machines along with the installation of the first new LS1040SP double decker press.
"We see strong growth in the 29" perfector market as the existing users realise the efficiencies and productivity associated with these highly automated presses," says Wintle.
"If we talk about printed pages, a LS29P will produce the same number of pages as a 40" press in a single pass for less cost and wastage.
"We are thrilled with the award when you consider we were up against the strong Asian competition. It’s a credit to the team of sales and support staff," concludes Wintle.
