CPI sharpening strategy after end to successful partnership

CPI Graphic says its sharpened strategy, after the withdrawal from heavy machinery earlier this year, is to focus its resources on large format digital printers and the associated consumables.

CPI’s business partner status and exclusive arrangements with HP for HP Scitex and Designjet output devices is key to their strategic platform under new general manager David Booth.

A statement from CPI outlines that after a successful, 20-year partnership with Morgana a change in distribution was decide after a strategic review was undertaken by both companies.

CPI continues, “Morgana has identified a wider Asia Pacific presence as being key to future growth for them and sought a partnership that could underpin their core strategy.

“These new arrangements will see an improved proposition for Morgana and CPI Graphics customers and the two companies will support each other in parting ways.”
