Visual Impact Brisbane is proving to be a solid success, with attendance figures well up on the previous iteration of the show, and strong sales reported by exhibitors.
Day two of the show saw hundreds of industry professionals attend, with the day one figures surpassed by lunch time, according to the event’s organiser, Visual Connections.
While the full analysis will not be completed until after the show, current estimates put visitor numbers up about 20 per cent on the same show six years ago.
Anecdotally, organisers have heard of groups driving for hours, or flying multiple people to Brisbane from interstate, to see the latest innovations and update their knowledge at the Connections Sessions, which are also proving popular.
Day one attendance exceeds tallies for 2018
Attendee figures for day one also exceeded the first day tallies for the 2018 show – the last in the Queensland capital.
“As the first VI Expo in Sydney for over four years, there’s no question VI Sydney is a much-anticipated opportunity, with plenty of attendees from the local market but also visitors from Sydney and NSW, the NT, Victoria and New Zealand already taking the opportunity to be first with the latest,” said Charly Blades, exhibitions manager, Visual Connections.
The show will be open today from 9am until 4pm.
