DES seminars kick off in Melbourne

This year’s programme is aimed at providing return on investment information for management. To provide this information a top panel of speakers has been assembled to discuss how standards-based printing will impact on the bottom line of a print business.

As well as the renowned international speakers, the events will also feature presentations from key figures from the local industry including Scott Telfer of Southern Colour, Sydney and Peter Boots, Gary Pool and Wayne Morgan of Geon.

Scott Collins, marketing and visual communications manager for DES told i-grafix, “Ulrich Schmitt of Fogra – Germany and Alan Dresch of Mellow Colour – UK, have landed safely and we look forward to hitting the road.”

He continues, “We are pleased with the response we have had, and are particularly grateful to have contributions from the local contingent. They have a lifetime of experience between them, and we expect their contributions to be highly relevant to the attendees.”

Collins adds there has been a strong response for the seminars but there are still a few places left for any stragglers hoping to attend.
