Dodd has a business background and both an arts and business degree. She has previously set up and run two businesses and has also purchased a third.
She says, “Prior to buying Snap Rocklea, I managed a financial analysis business. I looked at over 100 businesses and used selection criteria to ensure I was making the best possible decision about which one to purchase.
“I was very excited to hear that all of the female staff would be staying on at Rocklea in an industry that is typically staffed by men.”
According to Innovation and Business Skills Australia, males made up 68.2 per cent of the production side of the printing industry in February 2009.
Snap Rocklea is set to become a Snap Level 2 centre next year. This will enable clients to engage consultants and graphic designers at a far lower cost to produce high-end creative solutions for businesses of any type.
