Anthony Parnemann, country manager, EFI Australia says the major benefits of a single common user interface is that it will simplify operations and improve efficiency by automating processes and delivering an integrated workflow.
Parnemann says, “The need for operators to learn and relearn how to control multiple interfaces will be eliminated by having a single standard interface.”
The products are designed to integrate with EFI’s Fiery digital front end and includes applications for job submission, prepress, make-ready, colour profiling and management, personalisation, and output management.
Fiery JobFlow, Fiery JobMaster and Fiery Central are three new key applications in the Fiery Workflow Suite.
Parnemann says, “Fiery Workflow Suite products also integrate with EFI’s web-to-print and MIS systems, giving our customers an advanced set of end to end products to reach greater levels of automation, and added profit avenues such as personalisation, quick turnaround on complex documents, and the ability to keep jobs that demand precise colour quality in house.”
Kaspar Roos, associate director for InfoTrends’s production workflow and customised communication service says, “In our 2012 Digital Front-End Study, we found strong evidence that print providers want to move their workflow solutions to the DFE so that they can run their workflow from a central location that easily integrates with other systems.”
