Elitron to showcase latest solutions at FESPA Global Print Expo

Elitron will showcase its multi-function Kombo THC conveyor cutting system with two cutting heads, together with its optional automatic Elitron Feeding System (EFS) at FESPA Global Print Expo next month in Berlin.

“You’ll be able to see first-hand how this feeding system really boosts productivity as it loads all sheets automatically,” said Elitron CEO, Giuseppe Gallucci.

“Handling times are greatly reduced, and far less operator intervention is necessary, freeing up the operator from repetitive, non-value tasks, whilst reducing production costs, making this a sound investment to increase overall efficiency.”

The EFS (Elitron Feeding system) comes in different widths to suit the full range of Elitron cutting systems and can also be configured with the SDS Seeker System vision technology which automatically searches for and centres the printing references marks directly from the underside.

“If you’d like to see a more compact system in action then the multi-function conveyor Spark C is set to raise a few eyebrows as it masterfully cuts through materials to create displays, signs, gadgets, samples and much more,” said Gallucci.

Both systems will be demonstrating multi-application cutting and milling for roll materials and rigid sheets, and the team will be on hand to showcase optional roll holders, the EFS, Elitron Feeding Systems, and the ESS, Elitron Stacking Systems for unloading.

Elitron tooling options, including V-Cut Plus for multi-degree and multi-material applications, the award winning, patented DL45 tool for single pass 90° V-cutting for compact cardboard and honeycomb materials, will also be taking centre stage at FESPA.

To further boost productivity, Elitron will also demonstrate the patented, automatic vision technology, Seeker System, which identifies printed reference points and printed images from the top and underside and automatically loads and aligns the relative cutting files.

Elitron’s augmented reality, Stressless Working Technology, using powerful video projection, is ideal for immediate sampling, maximum material yield and minimum material waste and is certainly a must see at Fespa for those who are not familiar with this exclusive time-saving technology.

Pallet-to-pallet, full cutting automation was taken to a new level last year at Drupa when Elitron unveiled the NEW Kombo TAV, the market leader for total automation, and the most productive system available today.

In addition, Elitron minimises their environmental impact, as all Elitron systems come with EPMS, Elitron Power Management System, which reduces energy consumption of the powerful vacuum, for savings of up to 50 per cent.
