According to Epson, attendees to the launch events – being held in both Sydney and Melbourne – will be able to see the machine in action at both events, and representatives from EPSON, DES and CGS will be on hand to answer questions.
Epson outlines that the WT7900 features precision printing on a variety of flexible film, paper and metallic film for contract packaging proofs and accurate sample reproduction.
Unlike other conventional package proofing systems on the market today, the Pro WT7900 is capable of rapidly producing an A2 package proof in less than 16 minutes using a uni-directional, 720x1440dpi print mode, according to Epson.
The manufacturer continues that this dramatic decrease in production time to around half the time of competitor models makes the Pro WT7900 a perfect solution for high volume printing environments.
The Sydney launch event will be held in Rhodes on February 24, while the Melbourne event will take place in Mulgrave February 25.
