Printers from around the country competed in the annual Heidelberg Shield golf tournament in two-man teams representing their state. The prestigious trophy was won by sandgroper pair Ross Lockhart and Nigel Ashurst for the second year in a row, making WA the alltime win leader. The two men have a combined age of 141.

Queensland honoured the best print work of 2014 with its first standalone PICAs. Platypus Graphics and Greenridge Press were the night’s biggest winners, while entries were up 40 per cent on 2013.
