With experience gained at the headquarters within the last 20 years, Faesser comes well prepared for the new role, according to Ferag. In the last four years he was heading WRH Marketing Asia based in Singapore where his focus was for South East Asia as well as greater China Territory.
Commenting on the appointment, Faesser says, “I look forward to establish a close relationship with our business partners in this interesting market. To serve the important market Australia and New Zealand and remain being a stable and reliable partner to this industry is of top priority.”
Ferag Australia presently has a staff strength of more than 30 persons spread over four hubs. It is representing Ferag with its post press processing system solutions but also serves as a one stop shop for a wide range of machinery and consumables required in the graphic arts industry.
Faesser adds, “With the new products ready to be launched at Drupa, Ferag provides publishers with even more tools to effectively process their work load and at the same time allows them to opt for additional revenue streams.
“MemoStick and gadgets will continue to generate additional profits for publishers which is welcome in a time of non-growing circulation.”
Thomas Klumpp will take up his new role at the headquarters in Switzerland in April. He says, “I would like to thank all our customers and all my colleagues in the Australian and New Zealand market for the good cooperation and the incredible support over the last years.
“To work in this market with all of you was a great privilege and I look forward to seeing you many times in the future either in Europe or here in Australia/New Zealand.”
