Commenting on the partnership, Markus Haefeli, CEO of Ferrostaal Australia says, “The Morgana products have been part of the establishment through previous agents Sicpa Graphics and CPI in Australia and New Zealand for more than 20 years and we plan to build on this existing customer base.
“With a complementary portfolio of leading prepress, web & offset press, packaging solutions, and consumables, the agreement will make Ferrostaal a stronger partner for our customers offering a complete solution.”
To support this initiative, Morgana has appointed Andy Cooper as general manager, digital print finishing for Australia and New Zealand. Andy brings more than 20 years of print industry experience to this role, including 12 years as International Export Manager at Morgana Systems, in the UK.
The partnership agreement also ensures the sales and support teams receive factory-based training from Morgana.
Cooper says, “There is an enormous opportunity to tap into the digital print market with products that are specifically designed to finish digitally printed media.
“The goal is to now develop stronger relationships with customers and suitable resellers to help us grow our entire product range in the Australian and New Zealand markets.”
