Fewer critical errors thanks to Rotoflex inspection kit: Jamesprint

After printing on both sides of a single web of label stock, Jamesprint uses the Rotoflex VSI 330 to slit the web into manageable rolls, said general manager Denny Fox.

He told ProPrint that the machine had allowed the 32-staff firm to turn around jobs more quickly.

“It is state-of-the-art. It has made production efficiencies for us. It is time-saving and has fewer critical errors,” said Fox.

The machine was specified with a dual-rewind, missing label and matrix detection system, said Ian Guanaria, general manager of supplier Aldus Engineering.

The Rotoflex also came with a “user-friendly operator interface system” that “improves productivity with accurate fault placement and faster cycle times”, added Guanaria.
