The five NGP partners are: enterprise-class document distribution solutions developer NowDocs®; the output management solutions provider Emtex; graphic arts software developers MetaCommunications and ixact; and MIS supplier Prodist Software.
NGP chair Tim Daisy says the new partners are working towards developing integrated systems by implementing the JDF standard.
“The commitment of these vendors to integration through cooperation is very exciting and I believe that they, along with our other Digital Print and MIS Partners, will jump-start the use of JDF in this part of the graphic arts supply chain,” says Daisy. “Standards such as JDF are only successful when vendors actively cooperate with each other. NGP Partners, now 53 strong, have proven time and again how successful this can be.”
