The deal, which may be the precursor to a global agreement, will provide Fuji Xerox printer users with the opportunity to have one colour management software for the entire pressroom, including iGen3, other Fuji Xerox digital printers, proofing units, and offset presses.
Speaking to Australian Printer at drupa Henryk Kraszewski, production marketing manager at Fuji Xerox says, “The incorporation of CGS Press Matcher software will mean that printers will be able to provide colour matched output, from whatever units they have, whether digital, inkjet or offset, which will provide a tremendous boost in their customer relations and service levels.”
Oris Press Matcher uses CGS four dimensional colour management software to produce high resolution files for digital presses, conventional presses, wide format inkjet systems, CTP units by matching their colour spaces to each other.
