Fuji Xerox records revenue and sustainability increases

The report discloses the company’s performance against its stated objectives and outlines future goals in seven key areas, namely financials, corporate governance, customer experience, employee engagement, environmental impact of business operations, industry sustainability initiatives, and delivering responsible and environmentally-friendly products and solutions.

He continues, “Our vision is to achieve sustainable outcomes for all stakeholders, and this philosophy underpins not only our entire organisation, but also how we engage with our customers, suppliers, partners and the wider industry. Our sustainability report is an honest and transparent reflection of what we have and haven’t achieved and more importantly, how we’re going to go about meeting future goals.”

Fuji Xerox Australia has achieved Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) chain of custody certification as part of its ongoing commitment to sustainable paper sourcing.

According to the report, the company also responsibly disposed 4,052 tonnes of end-of-life equipment collected from Australian customers, of which 1,412 tonnes were processed at its Asia Pacific Recycling Centre in Thailand, achieving over 99 per cent resource recovery.

With dealers accounting for 44 per cent of Fuji Xerox Australia’s equipment sales revenue, the company successfully rolled-out its inaugural Dealer Sustainability Programme, the first of its kind in the print industry, to help dealers improve their environmental performance.

The report also highlighted by improving and introducing new environmental management programs, Fuji Xerox Australia reduced its carbon emissions by 19 per cent, in part a result of procuring 36 per cent Green Power. The company also reduced its water usage by 37 per cent while cutting paper use by 1.6 per cent.
