The ICS670 folding carton press was launched at drupa, it can carry out six functions in one pass, including screen printing, UV flexo, laminating, hot foil stamping, cold foiling, varnishing, and cu and crease. It prints at speeds up to 350 feet a minute, taking blank board to finished cartons.
Gallus is best known for its label presses of course, and has seven different presses available according to application, including self adhesive labels, pressure sensitive labels, monofoils, tags and tube laminates.
Its PacPrint stand highlighted the latest label press developments, along with IST UV drying equipment, and the Italian manufactured Prati range of slitter rewinders that according to Gallus Australia managing director James Rodden are proving popular in this part of the world. Prati manufacturers a wide range of slitter rewinders and inspection machines.
