GAMAA awards four industry achievers with scholarship

Scholarship recipients include Adrian Sheedy, account manager, Blue Star; Erin Mercieca, spare parts manager, manroland Australasia; Mark George, sales manager, Böttcher Australia; and Matthew McRobert, account manager, NSW Department of Lands.

Mitchell Mulligan, president of GAMAA says, “On behalf of the GAMAA members I welcome the new scholars to the GAMAA Leadership Programme. Since its inception in 2002 the GAMAA Leadership Programme has awarded thirty eight scholarships.”

Remarking on his scholarship, Mark George says, “All my working life I’ve looked at what the next day would bring, who I’d meet, what I’d learn and who would learn from me. GAMAA’s Leadership Programme brings together all these aspects, and fits perfectly with my future goals.”

He continues, “GAMAA’s commitment to nurture the industry is highlighted by this Scholarship, and to be offered a place amongst so many talented colleagues is personally very rewarding.”

Also commenting, Erin Mercieca says, “The GAMAA workshops I have attended have been both beneficial in my working and social life. The GAMAA Leadership programme highlights strategies that are helping me to enhance my knowledge and ability on a day-to-day basis.”

She adds, “I am keen to grow in the printing industry and wish to learn in all aspects. I wish to thank the GAMAA members for their support and belief in me to give me this opportunity.”
