The 19 April event will be held at the Bonnie Doon Golf Club, which has just been redeveloped by US Open winner Geoff Ogilvy and Australian tour winner Michael Clayton.
GASAA executive officer Garry Knespal told ProPrint the four-person Ambrose format would make for an informal atmosphere and provide a lot of networking opportunities.
“It’s an opportunity for golfers of all standards to play on a championship golf course in a format that’s kind,” he said.
People can come in twos or fours or they can register privately and be placed in groups.
The day will have a 12pm shotgun start and include giveaways and prizes. Tickets are $85 if booked before 13 April and $100 after. Click here to register.
