Smaller community sponsorships include an art deco weekend and a festival of lights in New Zealand.
Geon staff member Annette Brambor had firsthand experience with the service when she was involved in a serious car crash while travelling with two of her friends.
“The helicopter came to our rescue and because of it my two friends are fit and well today,” she said
Geon will use its Mimaki wide-format printers at its Auckland site to produce the logos on the rear of the helicopter.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter operates 365 days a year and has completed more than 15,000 rescues.
The sponsorship comes as the Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust launches its second rescue helicopter.
