BJ Ball has extended its letterpress paper range by introducing the Gmund cotton paper, which it says is the envy of all cotton papers.
The company says it will supply its range of letterpress ink as well as press consumables to keep letterpress machines in ‘tip top condition’.
BJ Ball spokesperson says, “The new colours including gentlemen blue, power blue, new grey, shiny cream and max white will join the long-time favourite linen cream.
“Gmund is perfect for Business cards, invitations, greeting cards, letterheads, hang tags with perfect results in letterpress, embossing, hot foil stamping and offset printing for the positive and impressive impact of anyone’s business.
“There is no doubt that Gmund cotton is the highest quality with our tip being: extra thick eye-catching cards (300, 450, or 600g/sqm) with deeply embossed letterpress printing.
The company says it also has matching envelopes in 110g/sqm 100 per cent pure cotton in ‘elegant formats, or prestigious letterheads in 110g/sqm Gmund cotton’.
According to BJ Ball, Gmund paper has been famous for its expertise in premium papermaking in Bavaria, Germany since 1829.
“All Gmund papers have Eco certification. Gmund Cotton is already used by many of the outstanding letterpress printers in Australia,”
